Tickets are sold subject to the rules and regulations of the competition which can be found here. Tickets are sold via the Fish North website for 2020 and are not sold at any other retailer. The ticket cost is £30 of which this funds the overall prize money.
Please, note that an additional £20 should be paid on the day of the qualifier, which covers peg fees and the daily payout for that given event. We also offer an optional £10 superpool if you wish to enter, this money is paid out over each of the lakes with the total being offered from the number of participants into the superpool on that lake.
Entrants to the competition must be 16 years of age on or before the date of the qualifier they are participating in. We may request you provide sufficient identification to verify this.
Tickets are delivered via email. When you purchase a ticket you will receive an email receipt and this will follow with a pdf attached ticket email. You are required to bring this ticket with you to the qualifier this relates to. You can either print your ticket or keep it stored on your mobile device and present this on the day of the event.
If you have not received your ticket, please make sure to check the junk folder of your email account, if you still have not received this, please send an email to fishing@fishnorth.co.uk and we will assist you in getting your ticket.
If for any reason an event has to be cancelled or postponed due to reasons beyond our control, then we will email you or contact you via your given telephone number and announce details on social media with the options that are available to you.
Our website allows you to either purchase a ticket as a guest or create an account so that you have the option of purchasing further tickets and not having to enter your contact details. The account also allows you to see what tickets you have purchased and you are able to download a ticket from any orders you place.
You are required to make sure the information you give is accurate. If you have made a mistake during your purchase procedure, you will need to notify us of the error and we will be able to assist you in correcting this, again you will need to email fishing@fishnorth.co.uk with details of this.
If you create an account during the purchasing procedure, please make sure you keep your password and details safe and do not share these with others. Fish North will never ask for your password or account details via email.
The Fish North website does not store any credit or debit card details, we use stripe to process our transactions and they may give you the option to store your details for future purchases, but this information cannot be accessed via our website. Refunds
Tickets are non-refundable under any circumstances. You can, however, sell your ticket onto another competitor. If you wish to do this, all we need is an email to notify us of the name change and your email that you used to purchase the ticket. Tickets for that given event can only be transferred, tickets cannot be swapped to another date.
Liability
Fish North or any participating fisheries involved are not liable for any personal loss or injury that occurs. You need to make yourself aware of any safety regulations the fishery or venue may hold. Please respect other anglers around you and use common sense. Any competitor that causes injury to another competitor will be disqualified from the competition and reported to the necessary authorities.
